Dear RIWCP Community,

The impact of COVID-19 on RIWCP is ever-evolving and we will continue to update you as we have more information. While our hope is not to cancel RIWCP 2020, we do not yet have all the answers. The safety of our program participants is our #1 priority right now. Due to many factors, the project might not be held on the originally planned dates this May.

That said, once we are able to move ahead with the project, we want to be sure that we are doing our part to help artists recover from financial losses sustained during this pandemic. In an economic downturn, the arts are one of the first sectors to have to close their doors, leaving artists without income and often without the ability to receive government assistance. RIWCP is a small and young organization that relies on the strength, support, and passion of our community. If you are in a position where you are able to give, there has never been a better time to support your local arts groups- and we hope you will keep us in mind. Donations received during this time will go towards continuing to improve our artist stipends for our next performances.

We are thankful for your ongoing support and look forward to creating art with you in the future when this is all behind us.
